The youngster's international future could become clearer this week
Young Barcelona forward Ansu Fati is on the pre-list for Spain's upcoming Euro 2020 qualifiers against Sweden and Norway, according to Cadena SER.
Spain coach Robert Moreno will name his squad for the matches on Friday and he will make a final decision this week on whether to include the 16-year-old.
The betting is open. Ansu could be called up for several Spain teams, from the first team to the U21s down to the U19s and even the U17s.
The latter is the worst-case scenario for Barcelona and their coach Ernesto Valverde. Spain's U17s are taking place in the U17 World Cup in Brazil in October and November and, if called up, Ansu would miss a month of club football.
