Both Pep Guardiola and Luis Enrique have collected titles for Barcelona

The two coaches have won 22 trophies between them in six-and-a-half years on the Camp Nou bench

Pep Guardiola inherited the foundations laid by Frank Rijkaard to create the best Barça in history. Luis Enrique, years later and adding his personality to the team, has continued winning. Among the two, the club have won 22 titles in just six-and-a-half seasons. A spectacular number which can still grow if Barcelona add to the Spanish Super Cup this season.

The paths of the two coaches, without getting involved in style and philosophy debates, have been the similar. Guardiola picked up a mentally drained team in the summer of 2008 and within a year had led the club to their first ever treble. That happened in his first season on the Camp Nou bench. And Luis Enrique did the same six years later.

The Asturian coach also took over a team 'affected' after a disappointing season with Tata Martino in charge. He put into action the Messi-Suarez-Neymar trident and Barça won their second treble, winning the Champions League by kncoking out the champions of all of Europe's top leagues.

Guardiola has won one more Champions League than Luis Enrique, but the current Barça coach can equal his predecessor because Guardiola won his second in his third season in charge, in 2010-11. Both won two Copa del Reys.

The current Manchester City close his spell in charge of Barça after his fourth season in charge having won 14 titles, an amount which Luis Enrique is in a position to match -- or even beat. For now, he has eight and is six short of Pep. To better him, though, he would have to commit to a fourth season in charge.
