Bellerin to return to Barcelona squad for Villarreal LaLiga game

| sport

The full-back has not featured since getting injured in training in September

In the current situation, any good news is welcome. Hector Bellerin, injured since Sept. 28, will, in principle, return to the Barcelona squad for Thursday's game against Villarreal. The Catalan full-back trained on Monday and, save any surprise, will be on the bench for the LaLiga game.

Xavi has had problems at right-back this month. Sergi Roberto, Alex Balde and Jules Kounde have played there. Kounde reappeared at the Santiago Bernabeu after missing four games. We will see if Xavi Hernandez now gives minutes to Bellerin against Villarreal (it is ruled out he will start) or save him for Sunday against Athletic Club.

HARDLY SEEN

The fact there have been and are so many games means rotations will come into play. Former Arsenal full-back Bellerin has hardly featured since joining. He has played 121 minutes of football: 90 vs. Cadiz and 31 vs. Elche.
