Bayern Munich are Barcelona's biggest rivals for De Ligt

Bayern Munich have been planning for next season for a while. After the confirmation of the signing of Lucas Hernandez from Atletico Madrid, their next target is Ajax's Matthijs de Ligt.
The Dutch defender is wanted by all of Europe's biggest clubs. His age, position and potential make him an attractive target for any side after a new centre-back.
The price would not be a problem for the Germans, who already know it will cost them around 70 million euros to bring in the 19-year-old.
But the Bavarians already knew this summer was going to be a costly one, starting with the 80 million signing of France World Cup winner Lucas.
Bayern are in a moment of reconstruction. Barcelona are aware of theur interest but remain confident they can convince De Ligt to sign for them.
