Barcelona planning throwback home shirt to celebrate 125 years in 24-25

Barcelona's second and third kits for the 2023-2024 season have yet to be confirmed, but the specialised website Footy Headlines has already published a sketch of what the Barça home shirt for the 2024-2025 season, the 125th anniversary of the club's history, will look like.

According to this information, the new shirt would be very much based on the first kit released by the club, with only two stripes of blue and maroon, and with the old club crest. In addition, the 'Nike' logo would change and both the 'Nike' and Spotify logos would be gold.

At the moment, it is only a prototype or an idea of what could be a shirt that, without a doubt, aims to be special. If it were to follow this pattern, it would be a complete departure from the type of kit Barça have worn in recent years and would return to a much older trend, reminiscent of those first shirts in the club's history.
