Key players have renewed and just Iniesta and Messi are to go

Umtiti is the only new signing who has proven himself so far at Barça

Ter Stegen, Umtiti, Mascherano, Piqué, Alba, Sergi Roberto, Rakitic, Busquets, Iniesta, Leo Messi, Luis Suárez and Neymar are the only players who Barcelona will not listen to any offers for, regardless of the numbers involved. They are the 12 untouchables, the 12 players who will be at Barça come what may next season.

In goal will be Ter Stegen, whose contract renewal is very close, as revealed in SPORT on Friday. The German goalkeeper has become the No.1 this season and is a guarantee with his new deal extending his Camp Nou stay until 2022.

In defence there are only four players who have their continuity at the club guaranteed, keeping in mind that Sergi Robert is most likely to return to midfield. The club will go big in their search for a new right-back. Umtiti, Mascherano, Pique and Alba are the four players, then. French defender Umtiti has been the welcome surprise of the season, the only one of the new signings to become a regular in the big games.

Meawhile, Mascherano, Pique and Alba are veterans of the side. The latter, however, has not had his best year under Luis Enrique, who has often left him on the bench, bit the club are aware there are few like him available on the market.

MIDFIELD

Elsehwere, Rakitic and Busquets have signed new deals this season. Only Iniesta is left to pass through the club's offices. Those three will be joined in midfield by Sergi Roberto, as well as Denis Suarez, Rafinh and Andre Gomes is no succulent offers come in for them.

There's no doubt about the MSN frontline, surely the best attack in the world and one of the best of all time. The current Barça would not be understanable without Leo Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar. The latter two have already renewed their contracts and Messi is close to doing the same.

For next season, the club intend to bring back Gerard Deulofeu. Currently on loan at Milan from Everton, he's a player Barça feel can strengthen the right flank, adding pace and that ability to beat a man -- like Neymar does on the left. Deulofeu, for that reason, will have the chance to return and show that he's matured and is ready to have a future at the club he developed at.

To this list of 12 'untouchables', Barça will look to add in the coming months a world class player who can fight for a starting spot in the team immediately.
