Barcelona fans can play at Camp Nou this summer for €300
The club will host four games at the start of June
Barcelona are renewing an old initiative. Supporters of the club will be able to live the unique experience of putting themselves in the skin of their idols and playing at Camp Nou for a day. The price is €300 per person.
The games will take place on June 6 and June 11 and there will only be four matches in total. The teams will be comprised of 18 players. It's considered a way of not only raising money while the stadium is not being used, but also of getting closer to the fans.
Barça said: "Every applicant can also bring up to fifteen people to cheer on their relatives or friends from the stands. These tickets cost 30 euro and include a ticket to visit the Barça Museum. Each player also receives a ticket to visit the Barça Museum.
"Availability for this exclusive activity is very limited, as only up to four matches will be played on June 6 and 11. All those taking part will meet at Camp Nou and they will be accompanied to an area where they will be able to change for the match, with showers available in one of the stadium's dressing rooms post-match.
"The group of players will enter the pitch like professionals and will have 15 minutes to warm up on the pitch itself. The experience guarantees at least 40 minutes playing time per player and includes medical care in case of accident. There will be a coach and referee to ensure the activity mirrors a real match as much as possible."
