Barcelona ask Bellerin to wait for them until the end of the window
The Catalan club are searching for a right-back before the market closes
Barcelona have a lot of work to do in the final days of the transfer window and one of the tasks they are working on is improving the right-back position.
Xavi Hernandez doesn't have confidence in Sergiño Dest, who has not been included in a matchday squad this season, and Barça are looking at other options.
There are several names on the table and one is Hector Bellerin -- who the club have asked to wait until the end of the window because he is the most viable option.

Barça preferred Juan Fotyh but his €42 million release clause is prohibitive, with Villarreal suggesting they will not negotiate for the Argentine.
There have also been difficulties pursuing a move for Borussia Dortmund's Thomas Meunier. The German side were open to a deal but not so late in the window, with it proving difficult for them to find a replacement.
Therefore, Bellerin is a good alternative. The La Masia graduate has spent a decade at Arsenal but could be allowed to leave the club for free this month following a loan spell with Real Betis.
Bellerin is an attacking, quick right-back who would fit Xavi's style. He would also be low cost.
