Barcelona 4-0 Real Valladolid: Lewandowski brace in front of Ronaldo

Pedri and Sergi Roberto were also on target in a comfortable win at Camp Nou

Robert Lewandowski struck twice as Barcelona beat Ronaldo's Real Valladolid 4-0 on Sunday to record their first win of the season at Camp Nou. 

Lewandowksi opened the scoring in front of the Brazilian legend, now president of Real Valladolid, with a fine finish at the far post following good work from Raphinha. 

Pedri added the second from inside the box after being set up by Ousmane Dembele and it was the French forward who then teed up Lewandowski for his second of the night, his fourth of the season. 

Sergi Roberto completed the scoring late on, turning home after Lewandowski had hit the bar as Barça made it seven points from three games. 

Xavi Hernandez was able to field Jules Kounde for the first time after he was registered with LaLiga on Saturday and h began at right-back. 

Barca started strongly, with Raphinha catching the eye. Lewandowski and Ousman Dembele both his the woodwork early on while Jordi Masip also made a string of saves. 

The breakthrough arrived in the 24th minute when Pedri's switch found Raphinha, whose brilliant cross was converted at the far post by Lewandowski. 

Pedri added the second before the break after good defending from Ronald Araujo led to a break, with Dembele teeing up the Canary Islander.  

Dembele set up the third goal, too, for Lewandowski, whose innovative finish took a deflection on its way past Masip. 

Valladolid did rally at 3-0 down but Marc-Andre ter Stegen continued his fine form with two good stops, while Kounde also cleared off the line. 

Roberto completed the rout late on, rolling home after Lewandowski hit the bar.
