Andre Gomes returned from Greece with an injury

He underwent tests at the training ground on Wednesday

Barcelona midfielder Andre Gomes, like Sergi Roberto, returned from Olympiakos with an injury problem.

The Portugal midfielder came on for the last 15 minutes in place of Denis Suarez and didn't appear to end the game with a problem.

However, on Wednesday he had tests at the club's training ground and a thigh problem was revealed, ruling him out for up to four weeks.

In a statement, Barça confirmed: "Andre Gomes came on against Olympiakos to replace Denis Suarez and picked up a thigh injury in his right leg which means he will be out of action for around three to four weeks.

"The Portuguese midfielder has featured 10 times in 15 matches in all three competitions this season."

Gomes will miss this weekend's game against Sevilla and the international break with Portugal.

He's also unlikely to feature against Leganes or Juventus but could return against his former side, Valencia, later in November.
