Barca not giving up on Turkish starlet Arda Guler

Barça have not yet given up on Arda Guler, although the Blaugrana admit that signing him is now "very difficult" when just 24 hours ago they were optimistic. They say, for now, there is nothing sealed, nor have they received any official communication from Fenerbahce or the player, although they hope to do so in the next few hours. The arrival of Real Madrid and another club with big offers could leave the Blaugrana out of the bidding for Guler.

Barca have tried everything and, for this reason, sent the new sporting director, Deco, to try to convince the player to join them. The sensations after the meeting were good, and an economic agreement was reached with Fenerbahce, pending the player's final decision.
