Barça's squad for 23-24 season complete after chaotic transfer deadline day

Four players left and two came in to complete a busy summer window for the Catalans

The reigning LaLiga champions, from now on, will face the season with 19 players and three academy players who have been with the first team since pre-season.

With these 22 players, plus what Xavi can call up from the reserve team to complete the squad, Barça will have to tackle the league and the group stage of the Champions League.

In January 2024, the market will open up again and it will be then when more reinforcements could arrive, possibly Vitor Roque -- his signing was announced on 12 July for 30 million plus another 31 million in variables -- or there could be some departures.

In goal, the new addition, following the departure of Arnau Tenas to PSG, is Ander Astralaga, from the reserve team. In defence, Jordi Alba (Inter Miami) and Eric (Girona, on loan) have left and Iñigo Martínez (Athletic) and Joao Cancelo (City, on loan) have arrived.

In midfield, Busquets (Inter Miami), Kessié (Al-Ahli) and Pablo Torre (Girona, on loan) have left the club and Oriol Romeu (Girona) and Gündogan (City) have arrived. In addition, the presence of canterano Fermín also stands out.

Up front, Dembélé (PSG), Ansu Fati (Brighton & Hove Albion) and Abde (Betis) have left the squad, while Joao Félix (Atlético, on loan) and youth player Lamine Yamal have joined the squad.
