Sunday's big game at Camp Nou could see Xavi's side rise in to the top two

Barcelona are back in action on Sunday after the international break. The FIFA 'virus' stopped them in their tracks in the middle of a great run (12 games without defeat, including nine wins) and after the impressive 4-0 win at Real Madrid on March 20.

However, international breaks have not hit Barça this season. They beat Valencia (3-1), Espanyol (1-0) and Atletico Madrid (4-2) after breaks this season.

They only lost once after a break, but that was when their game vs. Sevilla was postponed due to call-ups and their next game was in the Champions League vs. Bayern Munich, a 3-0 loss.

Barça have no fresh injury concerns in terms of their starting XI, although Luuk de Jong misses out through Covid-19, with Sergi Roberto, Sergiño Dest, Samuel Umtiti and Ansu Fati all still injured.

Dani Alves could come back into the side at right-back for Ronald Araujo, with Xavi having to pick between Araujo, Gerard Pique and Eric Garcia as centre-backs. Jordi Alba will be at left-back.

In midfield, it's once again three from four, although Busquets, Pedri and Frenkie de Jong are likely to start over Gavi, with Dembele, Aubameyang and Ferran Torres in attack.

A win will move Barça above Sevilla into second in the table, a remarkable feat considering they were ninth when Xavi Hernandez took over in November.
