Barça legends surrender lead against Luis Figo's Inter
The Catalan club were 2-0 up but went on to lose 3-2 in Milan
Barcelona Legends threw away a two-goal lead as they were beaten 3-2 by Inter in Milan on Tuesday before the first team's Champions League game.
The Catalans started well and soon led 2-0 thanks to the opportunism of Gaizka Mendieta and a fine left-footed effort from Fernando Navarro.
However, Inter, who included former Barça and Real Madrid midfielder Luis Figo in their ranks, backed by the home support, roared back to win the game.
Christian Vieri scored twice for the Italians, with Esteban Cambiasso getting the other goal.
The match was five-a-side, with 25 minutes for each half. Barça, coached by Albert Ferrer included Albert Jorquera, Jon Andoni Goikoetxea, Juliano Haus Belletti, Gaizka Mendieta, Frédéric Déhu, Òscar Arpón, Juan Carlos Rodríguez, Gabri García and Fernando Navarro in their squad.
Inter has Julio César, Javier Zanetti, Marco Materazzi, Nico Burdisso, Paolo Orlandoni, Nicola Ventola, Esteban Cambiasso, Christian Vieri and David Suazo.
