Around 50 supporters greeted the players and coaching staff at their hotel in L.A

Barcelona's first team squad is already resting at the luxurious LA Intercontinental hotel in Downtown Los Angeles. After a twelve-hour flight, the expedition landed at the Californian airport mid-afternoon. As well as the first team squad, the expedition included a large representation from the board of directors, headed by president Joan Laporta and with the presence of three of his vice-presidents: Rafa Yuste, Elena Fort and Antonio Escudero.

At the hotel, the Barça players were awaited by around 50 local fans, most of them wearing Barça shirts. On the back, supporters showed their support for Pedri, Gavi, Frenkie de Jong, Lewandowski and also Leo Messi. The players, although visibly tired, were attentive to the fans' requests. Lots of photos and autographs. Jules Koundé was the one who signed the most, staying a few minutes, as did Dembélé, Gavi, Pedri, Gavi, Ter Stegen, Christensen, Gündogan, Araujo and many other players.

A little girl, who was wearing two Gavi shirts, had time to give the young Andalusian footballer a pair of bracelets that she had made herself. Coach Xavi Hernández, who got off another coach with the coaching staff, also received the affection of the fans.

Agenda

Shortly after their arrival, the players went off to rest, as Xavi will lead the first training session at the LA Memorial Coliseum at 10.30am local time on Thursday. One of the Terrassa coach's requests for this tour was to set up a base camp in a city where the temperatures were not too high for training. The city chosen was Los Angeles.

32 players

Oriol Romeu boarded the plane at the last minute after his signing was made official hours before the 32-player expedition was due to depart. Also in the expedition are some players who are not in Xavi's plans, such as Lenglet, Julián Araujo and Dest. And seven players from the reserve team: Ander Astralaga, Lamine Yamal, Aleix Garrido, Marc Casadó, Mika Faye, Fermín López and Álex Valle.

Barça will be in Los Angeles until the 28th, when they will travel to Dallas to face Real Madrid. Before that, they will have played against Juventus in Santa Clara on the 22nd and Arsenal in Los Angeles. After the Clásico on the 29th, the Blaugrana will close the tour in Las Vegas against Milan on 1 August.
