Barça duo Pedri and De Jong both passed fit to face Atletico Madrid
The midfielders are back in the squad for Sunday's game at Camp Nou
Xavi Hernández has two of his 'jewels' back for Sunday's match against Atlético Madrid at Spotify Camp Nou (16:15h CET). Pedri Gonzalez and Frenkie de Jong are in line to start for Barcelona after successfully coming through the training sessions with their teammates this week.
Pedri has missed the last two months after suffering a muscle injury on 16 February in the Europa League first leg against Manchester United. We all thought that the Canary Islander would be fit for the LaLiga clásico but, to his regret, he was still not at 100%.
Meanwhile, De Jong was one of the most outstanding players in the Barça vs. Madrid game on 19 March, but not everything went as expected. After the final whistle, the midfielder ended up injured and was left out of the Dutch squad for the last international break.

But the nightmare is over. Xavi brings back his indispensable midfield players in a game in which the Blaugrana will be looking to regain the confidence lost in their last games against Girona and Getafe.
