Barça could sign Todibo now and loan him out for six months
The player's not playing for Toulouse anymore due to contract dispute
Barcelona will finalise a four-year deal for Jean-Clair Todibo in the coming days. It just remains to be decided if he comes now or in the summer, for free.
With an agreement in place for June -- when his Toulouse deal expires -- Barça are now in talks with Toulouse about doing a deal this month.
If a price can be agreed, Todibo would join Barça immediately and go out on loan for six months. If not, he will stay at Toulouse, where he's not playing as punishment for turning down a renewal offer.
Barça have beaten Manchester City and Juventus to Todibo but will now try to agree a compensation package with the French club -- the defender only has six months left on a non-professional deal.
The Catalan club are happy to pay a small fee to avoid him not playing for the next six months. The situation at Toulouse at the moment is complicated.
A loan move to another La Liga club would be the priority. There is interest from various teams in Spain's top flight.
