The Danish international wasn't involved against Elche
Braithwaite joins the list of injured players at FC Barcelona. The Danish striker has a left quadriceps anterior rectus injury and is likely to miss the start of the new LaLiga season.
Braithwaite underwent tests this Sunday and confirm an injury he suffered in post-match training on Saturday.
This pre-season, Braithwaite participated in the friendlies against Nàstic and Girona, both at the Johan Cruyff Stadium. Against the former, he played the entire second half, replacing Messi, while against Girona he played the last half hour.
The Danish striker has been linked with a move away but he's repeatedly stated his wish is to stay at the Camp Nou.
