The Spain international could find himself in demand this summer

Rodrigo Moreno could be one of the big names in the transfer market this summer. Barcelona are interested in the Valencia striker, who has a release clause of 120 million euros. Rodrigo's never pushed for a move away from Los Che, not even last summer when Real Madrid were keen.

Barça hope to negotiate his release clause. They also believe Madrid will be back on the scene this summer to push for the Spain international. In any case, the Catalans have made it clear they will not get involved in a bidding war.

Julen Lopetegui wanted Rodrigo last summer at Madrid at any cost. Florentino Pérez tried to do a deal but didn't give 100 percent. Los Blancos stepped down amid Valencia's insistence that the release clause was paid.

Zinedine Zidane is open to signing Rodrigo this summer, although he has other priorities. Madrid are following his situation.

Barça coach Ernesto Valverde feels Rodrigo would be an interesting addition to his attack. He likes his pace and his versatility. He's not a born goal scorer but he has lots of other qualities. At Barca he would score a lot, too.

At the moment, Barça are weighing up moves for Luka Jovic and Rodrigo, but the former's the priority at the moment.
