Balde, Martinez & Kounde sit out Barça's first training session in Los Angeles
Barcelona have arrived in the USA where they will play four matches this summer
Barcelona are now training in the United States. Specifically, they have done so for the first time at the LA Memorial Coliseum in Los Angeles, a legendary venue because it hosted the 1932 and 1984 Olympic Games. Xavi has ordered a double session for this first day of work on the tour, so they will train again in the afternoon. All in high temperatures.
The first session featured all of the players called up by Xavi, with the exception of four. One of them, Julián Araujo, has not yet joined the expedition because he was with the Mexican national team at the Gold Cup, reaching the final (the defender did not play).
In addition, Iñigo Martínez is still recovering from the plantar fasciitis that kept him sidelined for many days last season at Athletic Club. Alejandro Balde, who is still not 100% recovered from his ankle problems, has not worked with the team either.
On the other hand, Jules Kounde, due to the transoceanic trip, was not able to train normally. It is possible that he will do so in the afternoon (Los Angeles time).
