Bad end to bad week for Arturo Vidal
Chile were pasted by their rivals Peru in Miami
It has not been a week to remember for Arturo Vidal. 'El Rey', the king, is having no big chances at Barcelona, but he returned to national duty with Chile and started against Peru at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.
Chile, however, were thumped 3-0 by a team performing at a much higher level, above all in the second half, when all the goals arrived.
This is the end of a week in which Vidal has been a protagonist. His posts on social media and comments to reporters have caused a stir, and he expressed his discomfort at being benched by Valverde. He arrived at Barca to play like he did at Bayern and Juve, but instead he is used by the coach as a late substitute.
