Antonio Rudiger close to choosing a new club with Chelsea contract ending
The German centre-back will head elsewhere in the summer with his Blues deal up
Antonio Rudiger is one of the centre-backs most desired on the market with his contract up at Chelsea. He’s not set to stay at the club and has many offers on the table. His agent was in Barcelona to speak to the club but the Catalans are unlikely to match his wage demands. More likely is a move to PSG, Tottenham or Manchester United.
Rudiger wants a top salary, as befits his pefromance against Real Madrid in the Champions League semi-final. Ronald Araujo’s renewal is going to happen instead.
Now Chelsea are out of the Champions League, Rudiger’s future will be decided relatively quickly. And more likely it does not lie at Barcelona.
