Aleña's message after discovering the severity of his injury
The Barça midfielder is set for around three months on the sideline
Carles Aleña suffered a huge setback in the final game of the La Liga 1|2|3 season. The Barcelona midfielder was injured towards the end of the B team's game against Real Zaragoza and left the Mini Estadi in tears, but the worst news arrived on Monday after tests.
The Catalan club announced that Aleña has ruptured a tendon in his right hamstring and will need to undergo surgery. The 20-year-old will be out for more than three months and will miss preseason which was set to be his first with the first team.

However, it's a setback he will come back from. And this is the message the talented footballer has posted on social media after discovering the severity of his injury.
He wrote: "Today's news is a huge blow. But with more strength than ever to recover from this setback. Thanks so much for your support, with this sort of affection everything will be easier. Força Barça!"

Aleña's received a lot of messages of support from the football world. One of the more personal once came from Marc Cucurella, his closest friend at Barcelona.
The young left-back wrote: "Wishing you well, brother!! A tough knock but I have no doubt that you will come back even stronger. We are with you!"
