The Frenchman was angry before the game against Liverpool

The Adrien Rabiot soap opera had two new episodes in the game between PSG and Liverpool in Paris on Tuesday. His situation is unsustainable and he must decide as soon as possible, renew or move to another team.

At Barcelona they are attentive to his situation and the desire of the club is take him for free in the next summer window. Neither are they ruling out the option of signing him in the winter but PSG don’t want to sell.

Yesterday the French press said that Tuchel left Rabiot in the stands after a confrontation with him. The reason was Rabiot found out he was supposed to be on the bench and kicked off about it.

Minutes before the clash Rabiot sat on the bench and Tuchel spoke to Radio Montecarlo.

“It’s a tactical decision, I want to play with Marquinhos, Kimpembe and Thiago. That’s a tactical decision, not a message. Everyone who starts the game is important and those who come on after are too. Adrien is with us. He will be important in the final moments of the game.”

Rabbit was also criticised by some PSG fans before the game, who shouted at him to “Go to Barcelona”.

Rabiot’s conversations with PSG director Antero Henrique have gone dead and anything can happen. Barca are optimistic about getting him but there was some fear he might give in and sign a big renewal offer.
